If you decide to visit this small Tunisian island, we recommend a few great spots you shouldn’t miss.

ZE MESS
This restaurant—one we never would have bet on, pleasantly surprised us. With tapas, rosé, and more, you’ll find plenty to enjoy.
The atmosphere is set by a screen showing live performances from artists we love (like Jack Johnson and Tash Sultana) and a stage for live concerts.
ERRIADH / DJERBAHOOD
This small neighborhood, with its colorful doors and flower-lined walkways, introduces us to the passion of various street artists.
Tucked away in the intersecting alleyways, you’ll also find a few artisan shops and concept stores.
SMILE BEACH
This lagoon, covering more than 30 km², allows kitesurfers of all levels to practice the sport in Djerba.
FONDOUK / HOUMT SOUK
It was in a small passageway at the back of the souk that we stumbled upon small artisan workshops; an art gallery, a basket-weaving shop, and more.
